Acton Acres spans 100 acres of private gated nature preserve, boasting miles of onsite hiking trails winding through old-growth hardwood forests. Nestled next to the 12,000-acre Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge on Lake Texoma, our sanctuary offers unparalleled opportunities for nature-based learning and agricultural exploration.
Our facilities include a 750 sqft greenhouse, pastured chickens, and an operating USDA certified grass-fed cattle ranch, creating a dynamic environment for academic quests and hands-on experiences in a serene natural setting.
Self-management and self-governance are celebrated daily by learners who use 21st Century skills to tackle real world projects, inspired by classic heroes in a tightly bound community with extremely high standards.
